Exhibitors at the 26th FIEE and at eletronicAmericas made, at the end of the trade fairs, assessments about the importance that the events represented for their businesses. Among the main points highlighted there are the qualified public and the perspectives of good deals.

José Luis Martins – Sales Manager, Cummins Power Generation
In a single operation, the company negotiated 20 medium-size generators. This happened on the second day of the Trade Fair.  The negotiated generator model was the C40 and the purchaser was Pole Power, which specializes in the commercialization of generating sets for rental. The event represents a great opportunity, not only to assure good sales, but to reinforce the image and advertise products as well.

Our expectation is to close high-value deals at the Trade Fair. We sold a MGB 070 CNC coiler for R$ 45 thousand.

Celso Santos Fonseca – Regional Sales Manager, SEW
We are satisfied with the event. We contacted potential customers and expect good deals, as the Trade Fair is intended to a segment in which SEW Eurodrive wants to expand its participation. We forecast that the company’s turnover will grow around 15% to 20% in 2011, to R$ 490 million, and that from 2% to 4% of this growth will result from the deals prospected at the event.

Letícia Nishida – Marketing Coordinator, Porta Cabos
We arrived at the trade fair with the expectation of closing deals in the amount of R$ 500 thousand, but our goal is to increase this value.

Adriana Leal Ferreira – Business Unit Director, Siemens
As the biggest electro-electronic products conglomerate in Brazil, it cannot fail to attend important exhibitions such as FIEE Elétrica, especially this year, when Siemens is making its greatest electronic components launch.

Valdemir Morales – Sales Manager, Rittal Sistemas Eletromecânicos
In this edition, we were visited by future customers from other States and also by foreigners, the latter interested in entering into partnerships. We expect good after-event results. 

Hernani Balthazar – Responsible for the Marketing Division, Caraíba (Eluma/ Paranapanema)
This Trade Fair was marked by the synergy between Eluma and Caríba branches, which was positive in the sense of brands strengthening. The Trade Fair is industrial, with a more technical visiting public, favoring the possibility of deals. 

Rodrigo Galdieri – Marketing Assistant, Dutoplast
Hiding cables and wires, with safety and without impairing the visual harmony of buildings, is one of the main missions of Dutoplast. With the PVC product, the installation is quick and efficient, as the product is versatile and light. The visitors’ interest surprised the company executives. Contacts with potential purchasers of our products were above expectation.

Cátherin Saltarini Sahium – General Marketing Coordinator, Elo Sistemas Eletrônicos
We received many customers who came to support our brand and celebrate the company’s 30 years, as well as future purchasers. We were also sought for new partnerships. We expect very good results within the next months.

Heimer Correia – Marketing and Communication Director, FPT/HEIMER
Leon Heimer took advantage of the Trade Fair to advertise its partnership with FPT Industrial, from Fiat Group. The result must be excellent for Heimer and FPT, and we believe in a 5% increment in the São Paulo unit businesses. 

Felipe Maciel – Marketing Manager, Legrand
It is the first time that the group attends the Trade Fair as Legrand; that is why it is so important to show the entire range of solutions for the industrial and third sector segments, with launches of new electricity protection and distribution systems, which is very good to strengthen our brands, and we believe in prospecting good deals after the trade fair. 

Melina König – Responsible for the Marketing Area, OMRON
The movement at the booth was very good, we advertised our brand to the market and made important contacts. The contacts will generate new deals in the next months.

We noticed that the question for the information and contacts with the company representatives gradually grew during the exhibition, and the demand became expressive for business generation.

Camilo Santos – General Director, Weidmller Conexel
The Trade Fair is a great opportunity to introduce oneself to the market, and there is a series of deals under way. The biggest highlight is the inkjet color printer developed to print connector identifiers. The machine is nature-friendly, does not use thinners, and replaces four other printers.

Leandro Furlani, Company Director, Blutrafos
We consider that his is the best edition of the Trade Fair as far as the visitors quality is concerned. We made very good contacts. The event provides an average increase of 20% on the company’s businesses, but in this edition the expectation is to significantly surpass this result.

The Trade Fair represents an added value for Stemac. Out of every 10 potential customers served, the possibility of medium-term deals is great with 8 of them. The optimism is due to the large number of generating sets quote requests, as well as of equipment dimensioning engineering project quote requests.
